Halloween Dress Up Day and Happy Mid Term!

The children all looked fantastic today for our Halloween dress up day. Everyone made such an effort and I couldn't even recognise some of the children! We had a great day today, making pumpkin and skeleton art, playing in our costumes and going to different tables in our room to do Spooky Halloween activities. Well done to Riley in our class who won the best costume in Junior Infants for dressing up as the elderly man from the film 'Up'! Here's some Halloween 'selfies' that we took with Maria, we loved these!

Autumn Nature Walk

The Junior Infants went on a lovely Autumn nature walk around the park in Belmayne and they spotted loads of different 'autumnal' things around our local area.

Some of the children saw red, green and yellow leaves, some saw acorns and conkers and some even said they spotted a squirrel and a hedgehog!
