Jessica's Senior Infants

Class meetings will take place in school tomorrow, Tuesday 26/09/17, at 7.30pm.  This meeting will give parents an opportunity to get information on key areas of your child's school life in Senior Infants, eg. daily activities, homework etc.

We will be sticking it into our scrapbooks so don't send in a photo you want back * * Here is the homework for this week. 1. Tricky Words - Revise and learn the words  we, be, was, to, do 2. Ella Goes to the Airport Word list ( Part 2 ) - Read through and familiarize the children with these words.  They do not have to be learned off by heart.  Some are tricky words they know from before, others are sound out words.   3. Sound Booklet - our sound this week is  'ch'  , please complete page  14 4. Handwriting Copy - Practice writing the letters  d , g, q only on page 2  this week. The children were in the Travel Agents for the first two weeks back to school.  They built hotels, packed suitcases and made bookings for trips and dream holidays to Disneyland, Lego Land and Desert Islands.    They were very engaged with this topic and I think it made us all want to book a trip away for a little holiday already!
