Weekly Homework 26/09/17

Happy  Monday  everyone, I hope you all had a great weekend! ** Our theme is Myself and My Family and this week we are looking at our own families.  Can you send in a picture of you child with their family or a family member. We will be sticking it into our scrapbooks so don't send in a photo you want back * * Here is the homework for this week. 1. Tricky Words - Revise and learn the words  we, be, was, to, do 2. Ella Goes to the Airport Word list ( Part 2 ) - Read through and familiarize the children with these words.  They do not have to be learned off by heart.  Some are tricky words they know from before, others are sound out words.   3. Sound Booklet - our sound this week is  'ch'  , please complete page  14 4. Handwriting Copy - Practice writing the letters  d , g, q only on page 2  this week. Please recite the formation rhymes as the children write the letters.   Please do not go ahead in the written homework.   You can decide  how much or little you

We're all going on holidays!

The children were in the Travel Agents for the first two weeks back to school.  They built hotels, packed suitcases and made bookings for trips and dream holidays to Disneyland, Lego Land and Desert Islands.    They were very engaged with this topic and I think it made us all want to book a trip away for a little holiday already!
