Tour and Homework

Hi Everyone,  Just a little reminder that the school trip is next Tuesday 5th of June. The children are to be dropped to school at the normal time and should hopefully be back to school around 1.30.  For anyone who hasn't paid the €15 it would be great if you could bring it in on Tuesday morning.  Also, the homework folders weren't collected but don't worry about it, they can be sent back in on Wednesday.  I hope everyone enjoys the extra long weekend! :)  Thanks,  Jessica

School Tour To Wooly Ward's Farm!

On Tuesday, June 5th , Senior Infants will be going on our school tour to Wooly Ward’s Farm.  The cost of the trip will be € 15 which includes a variety of activities at the farm and bus costs to and from Wooly Ward’s.  Children should be dropped to school at the usual time. We’ll hopefully be back by around 1.30pm.  Children should wear comfortable clothing and footwear. Please pack a rain jacket, sun cream and a treat with their lunch if you wish.

A visit to the Supermarket, experimenting with our senses and making pizzas!

The children were busy during this Aistear topic as they got to taste a variety of foods that helped them to learn more about the sense of taste as well as the other senses that we have. I'm not so sure the bitter lemon was enjoyed by everyone though! They were also playing in the Supermarket and making their own meals.  Well done to the whole class on a great assembly on Friday. Everyone learned their lines and the song so well and did a great job. We hope you enjoyed it :)  As a Friday treat, everyone got to make pizzas, which was really fun!
