Hey everyone,
I just want to say thank you so much for such a wonderful two years. The children are a credit to all the parents and each child should be very proud of themselves because they have come so far since starting in Junior Infants two years ago.
They are all so unique and full of personality and have given me so much happiness and laughs every day. I'll miss them hugely but I know they will love the new challenges and exciting changes in First Class.
Always feel free to pop into me whenever you're passing and good luck in the future!
Jessica ☺

Today we learned all about the sound...

Our rhyme for this sound goes like this - 'Curve around, up like a helicopter, bump, back down and kick.' Here is the song for this sound.

We have also been practicing our tricky word, 'the', and trying to find it hiding in different places around the classroom!

At Home in Aistear!

The children were learning all about the 'Home' in Aistear over the last two weeks. They talked about themselves, their families, their homes and met our new Aistear friend, Beebot! The Beebot is a 'coding robot' that can be used in a huge amount of ways to teach many topics and already the children are having great fun with it, while learning a vast amount of vocabulary linked to each topic.
They also built their dream home, made family members and houses out of playdoh, painted their 'hidden names' and played with small houses and toys from the home.
Take a look at what some of the children got up to 'At Home'!
