Tour and Homework

Hi Everyone, 

Just a little reminder that the school trip is next Tuesday 5th of June. The children are to be dropped to school at the normal time and should hopefully be back to school around 1.30. 

For anyone who hasn't paid the €15 it would be great if you could bring it in on Tuesday morning. 

Also, the homework folders weren't collected but don't worry about it, they can be sent back in on Wednesday. 

I hope everyone enjoys the extra long weekend! :)

New sounds and tricky words for December!

Happy December everybody! The children are doing very well with their sounds and blending and we will be going over these during the next couple of weeks. Our first sound this week is 'f'.     The formation rhyme for this sound is;  'Curve at the sky, turn and dive down, bump the line and cross.' The next sound we will be learning is 'b'     The formation rhyme for this sound is;  'Dive down, swim up to the middle, curve around and stop.' We have two tricky words this week so just do your best to learn both of them. Come on in to the Belmayne Restaurant!

The children have been learning about the restaurant in Aistear over the last two weeks, as well as creating wonderful art by the French artist Henri Matisse, exploring magnets and designing and building their own restaurants and French landmarks.  Have a look at all the things they've been getting up to!
