Weekly Homework 16th of April

 Happy Monday everyone, I hope you had a lovely weekend.  Here is the homework for the week:  1. Reading - The Wrong Car Pages 7-12, please use the little booklet to ask questions about these pages and develop their comprehension skills.  Please make sure the book is in their bag everyday as we will be using them in class too. 2. Writing Copy - Each week the children will write 3 sentences in their copy about the topic for that week. This week the topic is flowers. Please write a title, the date and 3 sentences this week. We are working on ensuring we have capital letters, full stops, spaces and writing on the line.  3. Maths worksheet - Each week the children will get a maths worksheet to practice their mental maths and addition skills. The back of the sheet is  optional . 4. Tricky words - We have completed the list of tricky words for our level and so we just need to practice, practice, practice using them this term. You will find a board game in...

Welcome back everyone!! I hope you all had a lovely break, I heard lots of great stories today all about it!! The homework for term 3 is a little different than last term as I feel they are well able for a little bit more of a challenge.  Week 1  1. Nature Walk in Malahide Castle

The children had a wonderful morning in Malahide Castle today. They went to the playground, had a picnic and then went on a nature walk to the front of Malahide Castle. They saw buds of new flowers and beautiful daffodils and bluebells and some children even saw some beetles! They also found the bus journey very exciting!  Happy Thursday ☺

Note about our trip to Malahide Castle on Thursday 22nd of March

Hi everyone,  The 4 infant classes will be going on a short trip to Malahide Castle and garden  next Thursday  22nd of March from 9 - 11.30. We will be going on a nature trail and having some time in the playground too. Hopefully the weather is nice!  The cost of the bus is €3 and we are looking for some volunteers to come with us too.  If you are free to come we would love to have you, just let me know. ☺ Thanks,  Jessica
